This is a simple tool I've created and posted to my GitHub that makes dumping media from SD cards easier as it automatically finds removeable drives and will copy to desired location and sort the files by date_taken. But it'll only do this if there is a file named "allow_copy",
This is to prevent the program copying from drives that you don't want it to extract.

I created this because It was a pain to handle thousands upon thousands of images in a single folder, many programs would simply freeze as it tried to load the metadata or previews. This solves those issues by making it super easy to:
plug in SD card -
run program -
done.
all 1000 images copied into folders sorted by date. from there i can go though the folders by day and filter through the bad ones and edit the good ones.
I've used this to transfer hundreds of gigabytes of images and this has streamlined the process so much.
